The Comfort Bubble

5:15 PM

He's a guy who seeks comfort, feeling numb,

Everywhere he goes, folks call him a bum.

Happy in his bubble, content and warm,

Then a girl entered, causing a storm.

She brought joy, but didn't feel the same,

No sparks flew, no love to claim.

Back to square one, feeling numb again,

Now everyone mocks him, calling him insane.

He regrets his actions, feeling the shame,

But it was all new, just a game.

He can't change what's done, no control in sight,

Accepts the blame, without a fight.

Trying to shake off guilt, it just grows,

Every attempt, deeper it flows.
